When taken in tandem with the innately superb handling of the dragons themselves, not to mention the vast range of natural hazards in the environment, combat in Century: Age of Ashes turns out to be a highly satisfying endeavour indeed. Meanwhile the unlockable Stormraiser class can unleash a blinding wave that not only damages foes, but stuns them for an extended stretch. The Phantom class has a limited time invisibility skill that can not only allow them to escape immediate danger, but also turn them into an extremely effective airbourne assassin of sorts. In addition to the expected longer range fireball attacks and close proximity fire breath strikes that can drain the health bar of your enemy very quickly indeed, each of the four classes also provide their own unique special abilities and skills that can spice things up further. Ultimately, however, the choice of class is up to player preference. When it comes to the combat side of things, Century: Age of Ashes acquits itself ably here too. The Phantom would be a good choice to use in the popular Century Age of Ashes Spoils of War game mode, which involves collecting enemy Gold and trying to stay out of view while transporting it to the team base. The Marauder or Phantom would be ideal classes for the Carnage or Skirmish modes which mainly involve eliminating enemies. For example, the Windguard class may be preferred in co-op battles where players have to assist teammates. However, there are a few choices better suited to specific match types. Players can use any of the three Century Age of Ashes classes for any match. Guard Shatterer: Deals massive damage to enemy shields.Mortal Shroud: Grants temporary invisibility.Mystic Shroud: Grants temporary invisibility while shooting fireballs.Blast: Launches an exploding projectile.Phantom - A mysterious class of dragon riders skilled at hiding in the skies Skeldian Resolve: Grants protection against shock arrows.Exaltation Surge: Enhances salvation and helps allies go berserk.Salvation Surge: Grants healing in a rush to allies.Smoke Trail: Leaves a poisonous trail behind the dragon. Windguard - A defender and protector and member of the Skeld Army.
